Features Overview
Printerhive started as a way to control and monitor multiple printers. Today it covers much more of the production workflow: files, queues, filament, orders, products, projects, integrations, and cost calculation.
Core areas
Printers and monitoring
Use Printerhive to see printer status, temperatures, progress, camera streams, AMS information, and current jobs from one dashboard. Bambu Lab, Klipper, and Prusa support varies by printer type. Start with Supported Printers and Monitoring.
Print queues and jobs
Printerhive separates current prints, queued work, and history. You can move jobs between queues, organize work by priority, and use printer matching to send jobs to suitable printers. See Print queues and jobs.
Files and plates
Upload files once, organize them into folders and tags, inspect plates, and reuse them for products, projects, and orders. Printerhive supports direct flows from OrcaSlicer. See Files, plates, and OrcaSlicer.
Filament and AMS
Track spools, stock, AMS trays, QR labels, low-filament situations, and filament mismatches before starting a print. See Filament storage and AMS.
Orders, products, and projects
Use products for repeatable items and projects for customer or one-off work. Imported shop orders can be converted into printable order items and moved into queues. See Orders, products, and projects.
E-commerce integrations
Printerhive can connect shop workflows such as Shopify, WooCommerce, Upgates, and CSV-based exports/imports. See E-commerce integrations.
Print calculator
Create print profiles, configure costs, embed a calculator on your website, and collect quote inquiries. See Print calculator.
